I REALLY wanted to love this place. Took my daughter and best friend to dinner there 2 nights ago. Was NOT impressed. Ordered a Caesar salad and there was a GIANT black hair in it. Needless to say my appetite was ruined. The manager did take it off but it felt like it was more of an inconvenience for her. The waitress was not very attentive and it was FREEZING in there. For the price and the “extra” in my food I will NEVER return. Gross. Maybe make your chefs/cooks wear hair nets. YUCK 🤢 👎🏻

Me and the wife have come here many times. The food is great and the service was excellent. Our server Juniel went above and beyond describing everything that was put onto our table. The parking is right next to the front door and doesn’t cost anything which is a plus when you’re eating in downtown Sarasota.

What a delightful experience! From Manager Evan to Server Stephanie, it was an "above par" experience. I also loved the parking (yes, this Melting Pot has it's own parking on the 2nd floor which leads you directly into the restaurant). I got the Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese fondue and the Classic Fondue (Oil) and finished off with the White Chocolate. I LOVE that they brought back a version of their "removed from menu" Mushroom Salad because that was always my favorite...Hence the extra green goddess and mushrooms request EVERY time so that I can gorge myself on those yummies. We had a mishap with a cell phone (falling on the side of our seating area) and manager Evan did not leave until we were able to recover it. Hostess MJ was amazing in recovering the cell phone with Evan overseeing. Very friendly, and courteous staff. Our serve Stephanie was on the ball for all of our needs and got our order right the first time (including all the extra sauces we requested). I also love their chocolate covered strawberries, a healthy option if you want to avoid the chocolate fondue. This experience at Melting Pot Sarasota was wonderful. Great staff, great food and a fun time was had by all! A+++

We had a party of 5 for a 10-year-old birthday dinner. They took great care of us. We had plenty of food and we really enjoyed our experience! The service was fantastic by Ki! Very impressed with their gluten-free options.

Food was decent, not worth the money, nice staff. It feels like eating a bunch of snacks, maybe just not the cuisine for me. If you are an all you can eat person this may not be for you. Good event food for talking amongst company.
